In Summer we turn our attention from ski holidays and specialise in mountain bike holidays. We offer mountain biking holidays and
mountain bike breaks in the Alps.
Our mountain biking holidays are completely flexible,
arrive when you like, and stay for as long as you like.

Chalet Simplet is located in Chatel in the heart of the Portes du Soleil which is fast becoming known as THE place to Mountain Bike. During the summer Chatel converts it's ski lifts to carry you and your mountain bike up the mountain so it's possible to ride hundreds of Km without ever pedaling! This bike friendly village also converts it's FREE buses to be able to carry mountain bikes, and pedestrians are banned from the mountain bike trails...!
There is no Mountain Bike area in the UK that can come anywhere close to this. Châtel is one of the many villages
in the Portes du Soleil region, which is fast becoming THE best Mountain Bike playground in Europe,
if not the world. Whether you like the freedom of the 650+ km of XC Mountain Bike routes, or the superb
purpose built downhill tracks and bike parks, Châtel will challenge your riding to a whole different level...
During the summer months we offer mountain bike holidays at great prices, on a fully catered or self catering basis. Your experienced hosts will be on hand throughout your stay, to advise you of the best routes and answer
any queries you have. We will be more than happy to arrange professional mountain bike guiding, mountain bike lessons,
or even a bike maintenance lesson for you if you fancy a day or afternoon off. We can also arrange your bike hire, lift passes, and transfers if required. There are a whole host of other activities available during summer, we are more than happy to help you combine your mountain biking with another activity, such as water rafting, rock climbing, or perhaps a round of golf? Our chalet, Chalet Simplet is a very modern and spacious Alpine chalet. It can sleep up to 12 people in 5 very spacious bedrooms and has a well equipped garage to store and work on your bikes, and a superb outdoor hot tub to help those aching limbs!
During the summer there are a whole host of Pro events taking place in Chatel, such as the Châtel Mountain Style,
The Passportes du Soleil, and the downhill world cup.
