There is no Mountain Bike area in the UK that can come anywhere close to this. Châtel is one of the many villages in the Portes du Soleil region, which is fast becoming THE best Mountain Bike playground in Europe, if not the world. Whether you like the freedom of the 650+ km of XC Mountain Bike routes, or the superb purpose built downhill tracks and bike parks, Châtel will challenge your riding to a whole different level...

Your experienced hosts will be on hand throughout your stay, to advise you of the best routes and answer any queries you have. We will be more than happy to arrange professional mountain bike guiding, mountain bike lessons, or even a bike maintenance lesson for you if you fancy a day or afternoon off. We can also arrange your bike hire and lift passes if required.

Our chalet, Chalet Simplet is a very modern and spacious Alpine chalet.  It can sleep up to 12 people in 5 very spacious bedrooms and has a well equipped garage to store and work on your bikes, and a superb outdoor hot tub to help those aching limbs!

During the summer there are a whole host of Pro events taking place in Chatel, such as the Châtel Mountain Style, The Passportes du Soleil, and the downhill world cup.
