Your hosts Andy and Mary would like to welcome you to Chatel, and Chalet Simplet.
We are the owners of 'The Alpine Chalet Company' and we will be on hand throughout your stay to help you get the most
from your holiday. We take great pride in offering our guests a very personal service.

The following is all part of the service....

Transfers

We offer a FREE airport transfer service, and as we don't trust anybody else with our guests, we collect you in person, in our luxury minibus and whisk you straight to our chalet. To make this possible we need to have a few conditions which you can find on our Booking page.

Pre Booked Ski Lessons, Ski Hire, and Child Care

We don't include the cost of these services in our prices as requirements differ greatly between groups, however we do offer a free 'Pre Booking' service. Just let us know your requirements and we will be more than happy to provide you with an exact price and pre book your lessons, ski hire, and child care for you.
When you arrive, we will take you in our mini bus to collect your equipment, and to introduce you to your instructors.
We have negotiated a 10% discount for our guests on equipment hire.

Lift Passes

There are two main types of lift pass you can buy in Chatel. A local pass which gives you access to all of the pistes in the Chatel area, and a full Portes du Soleil pass that gives you access to the whole area, in total over 650km of linked pistes.

At no extra cost we can order your passes for you and have them waiting in the Chalet for when you arrive.
You can buy your passes on our web site, just go to our Lift Passes page. Alternatively you can pay for them when you arrive.

Ski Guiding

We are fortunate enough to live in Chatel all year round, and know the mountains inside out. Skiing with our guests is a great way for us to show off this fantastic area, and for you to get the most from your skiing, and get to know fellow guests.
We are happy to provide our guests with two days of free ski guiding, A general, fairly gentle orientation early in the week, and a much faster, full on day later on in the week!
We are happy to tailor the guiding for both skiers and boarders.

Please note that anybody wishing to ski with us must be competent skiing on at least red runs, and children under 16 must have an adult with them.
