Our chalet, Chalet Simplet is perfectly situated just 400m from Chatel village centre on the route de vonnes. The Chalet boasts fantastic views across the valley which can be enjoyed from one of the many
balconies, or from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly! The nearest ski lift "Super Chatel" is in the village centre just 5 minutes walk away, however to save the effort of any walking at all, we have a minibus on hand and will happily take you to and from the slopes everyday, at a time that suites you.
If you are a good skier then it is possible to ski from Super Chatel, off piste, to the rear of the chalet.
The spacious open plan living area is furnished to a high standard with Sky TV, PS2, and DVD with large selection of films to choose from. There is also a CD Player and ipod docking station for you to chill out to your favorite music.
From the living area, patio doors lead to a beautiful south facing balcony with spectacular views across the valley.
The lounge has a lovely log fire for you to relax in front of with a pre dinner drink and some tempting canapes before moving to the dining area where you will be served a delicious evening meal freshly prepared and beautifully presented by your hosts. The bright spacious dining area seats up to 12 people comfortably.
Chalet Simplet is a beautifully built spacious alpine ski chalet, designed and furnished to a very high standard. It offers 5 very spacious bedrooms, one of which can sleep 4 people. Each bedroom has built in wardrobes and lovely soft furnishings, equipped with fluffy towels, and bathrobes.
Two of the bedrooms have doors opening onto a south facing balcony, and all have breathtaking mountain views.
The bedrooms are all equipped with hairdryers for your convenience. Some of the bedrooms are large enough to accommodate an extra bed if required.
On the top floor there is a mezzanine with TV and DVD player along with a large selection of DVD's, and books should you wish to relax in peace or allocate the kids their own play area! Downstairs on the ground floor you'll find a heated boot room/reception room, ski storage and garage to store all your equipment. Outside there is off street parking for two cars (further off street parking available if required) and of course the hot tub, where you can relax with a glass of bubbly and look out across the valley. The lay out of Chalet Simplet makes it perfect for either sole occupancy groups, or smaller groups wishing to share the chalet experience and meet new friends.
