The Chalet Group Chatel Giant Slalom..
Help us become the fastest chalet in Chatel this season! Every week we offer our guests the chance to take part in a giant slalom race. We race as Team Simplet (ok so that's French for a team of simpletons...!) on the Linga stadium run, against other chalets in the area. The top three times from each chalet get added together and there's prizes for the winners!

New Chair Lift Replaces Linga2..
Work on the new 6 person high speed chair lift at La Linga is now complete. The new high speed chairlift has replaced one of the last remaining old style lifts, La Linga 2. The lift opened at the start of the season in December and is one of the fastest lifts in the Portes du Soleil!
More Snow Cannons....
More major work going on throughout the summer has seen countless snow cannons cropping up across the mountains. Chatel has invested 7 million euros in new state of the art snow making equipment covering almost the whole area! Despite Chatel having one of the best snow records in the Alps, and the last 2 years seeing some of the best snow conditions in almost 30 years, the new snow cannons will be a very nice back up!
