By Car
Chatel is situated in the Abondance Valley, 5 minutes from the border with Switzerland. By car it is just 515 miles (approx 8 hours) from Calais, the large majority of the journey being on the efficent French motorways. (you should expect to pay approx £50 in tolls each way on the French motorways)
From Geneva follow the lake along the south side following signs to THONON. From Thonon simply follow the signs to Chatel, passing through Abondance.
